The sheep are wearing the laundry
Whilst it seems the rest of the UK are basking in sun the little spot we decided to escape to four years ago continually avoids anything that resembles something as uncool as summer. In fact I have just resuced todays washing, blown off the line, from next doors sheep. I felt a bit mean as Polly looked quite sweet for a sheep in the red t shirt. Maybe she was going out.
And now todays domestic dilemma - to re wash, fasten to line, bring in and iron or brush off the sheep poo fold neatly and replace in drawers? Since the teenage one doesn't even know the clothes have been laundered, that'll do for him. The not quite a teenager doesn't care so his too will be back in the drawer....Mr Zippy won't like it as he is so particular about work clothes and will not overlook sheep poo stains on his shirt even to spare his beloved's feelings but he will say nothing and put it back through the wash himself ( flashback to lots of years ago when we first got together and I was, for some strange reason, playing house and as part of this doing mr Zippy's ironing - I know but it was years ago and I was trying to impress - well I didn't as it happens, impress that is. He started to get to the shirts first every week until I innocently asked why. "I 'm not keen on the Chinese lantern look you seem to acheive to be honest" came the reply) That's decided it actually back in the cupbaord with his stuff.
There isn't much of a dilemma about mine - they are in the wash as I type.
